Kirsten Caroline Dunst is an international star, famous all around the world due to her multiple talents: acting, singing and modeling. She was born on April 30, 1982, at Point Pleasant, New Jersey, of a German father and a Swedish mother. In 1991, she moved to Los Angeles, which was the triggering factor of her acting career.

At the early age of 3, Kirsten Dunst was already staring in TV commercials and her beauty was spotted instantly by Ford Models Agency and by Elite Model Management, the major modeling agencies of the world. She signed with them and, while being a child fashion model, she made her film debut in a short movie directed by the superstar Woody Allen. Although it was a small role, it was enough for her to get a major role in the movie Interview With the Vampire, which was released in 1994. she was only 12 years old and she was already acting among international movie stars like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.

Kirsten Dunst played Claudia, the surrogate daughter of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, a vampire child. The movie was a success. Her performance received many compliments and she was even nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Kirsten was becoming a star. She won an MTV Movie Award, for Best Breakthrough Performance, and movie offers were staring to flow.

Kirsten Dunst acted in movies like Little Women, Jumanji, Wag the Dog, Dick, The Virgin Suicides, Bring It On, Get Over It, The Cat’s Meow. Although her parts in these movies varied from one to another, she managed to adapt to each of them. She was a chameleon. Her performance in The Cat’s Meow won her the Best Actress prize at the Mar del Plata Film Festival. Not only her acting talent was awarded, her stunning beauty was also noticed and she was named one of the most beautiful people in the world by magazines like People and Esquire.

2002 was Kristen’s year. Kirsten Dunst played Mary Jane Watson in the superhero film Spider-Man, the on-screen version of the famous comic books. The movie was a smashing success, which led to a sequel, in 2004. Kirsten Dunst was becoming one of the world’s biggest actresses, but her career did not stop here. Her ambition was unstoppable and her roles were more and more interesting. After the thundering success of Spider-Man, she starred in movies like Levity, Mona Lisa Smile, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Elizabethtown, Marie Antoinette, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, All Good Things, Melancholia and many others.

Since her film debut, at only 8 years old, Kirsten Dunst has won many significant prizes and she is an international superstar.
